On Sunday 31st May, the family at Causeway Coast Vineyard made a decision to put ‘Compassion at the Centre’ of their lives by giving financially towards the building of our centre for the poor in the local community. Because of this generosity we will be able to offer hope and help for the whole person in a much more focused and effective way. This new facility will pull our projects together under one roof to create ONE DOOR for people to access the support they need.
Thanks to the financial sacrifice of so many… a staggering £566,660 has been raised to date, allowing us to go full steam ahead with plans for building our Compassion Centre.
To give you a quick update on our progress, we are still waiting to hear if our offer on the land has been accepted. We would appreciate your prayers for a prompt response so that we can keep momentum going. I have also been meeting with our architects to get more detailed plans under way, so please also pray for wisdom as we finalise the plans.
I’m overwhelmed by the response and deeply appreciate your support as we seek to serve the poor and broken on our doorstep. Here at Vineyard Compassion, our goal isn’t simply to meet physical or emotional needs… it’s to release the God-given potential within each person we serve. Every gift given will enable this to take place through our new venue, where we get to see the rescued become the rescuer!
So to everyone… thank you once again for your donation. I can’t wait to invite you all along to the opening of the new Compassion Centre!
