First Time Guest

We understand that coming along to a new place for the first time can be a daunting prospect.  At Causeway Coast Vineyard we do everything that we can to make your experience with us as enjoyable as possible. On this page we hope that you find relevant information that will help you as you begin your journey at Causeway Coast Vineyard.

General Information

What time does it start?
Our morning services take place at 9.30am & 11.30am (lasting 1h 15mins); kids and youth environments run alongside these services.

Our evening service takes place at 7pm; there is no childcare at this service.

Where is the church?
We are located at 10 Hillmans Way, Coleraine, BT52 2ED.

What should you wear?
Most people come along in casual dress, for example jeans and t-shirt. However, if you would like to dress more formally, or wear a suit or dress you are totally welcome!

Where can you park?
There is free parking on the church site. Upon your arrival you will be directed by one of our friendly car parking team towards a space.

What should you expect?
When you arrive at the church you will be greeted by a member of our friendly host team, wearing a blue t-shirt. If you have family you can sign your kids into one of our vibrant and engaging environments (look out for our kids teams in yellow t-shirts!).

The service takes place in our auditorium, where we gather for around 25mins of worship, followed by a few announcements about upcoming events, then around 35mins of teaching from one of our team. The service lasts around 1h 15mins, and is followed by tea, coffee and treats!

Thinking about coming to Causeway Coast Vineyard this Sunday? You may find it helpful to connect with someone at the start of the service through our 'Meet & Greet''. One of our newcomers team will connect with you in the foyer when you arrive, welcome you and show you to a seat!

During the service

Welcome & Worship
Our morning services launch with a time of celebration and sung worship. This normally lasts 20-25 minutes and will be directed from the front. All the words are on the screens so if want to, you can sing along. We encourage you to relax and engage at your own pace, even if that means not singing at all.

After worship we share some announcements, which may include stories, information and upcoming events.

We also express our thanks to God through our offering at this point in the service. You are under no obligation at all to give; if you are a first time guest, we encourage you to simply let the basket pass you by.

Teaching
Normally after worship we have a relevant and meaningful talk. Our talks are challenging, biblical, inspiring and applicable to all of our lives. We design them to last around 30/35 minutes so you can rest assured that you wont be sitting in the service come Monday.

At the end of the talk we often provide an opportunity to make a decision to begin a journey with Jesus; there is no pressure in this moment and if at any point you want to find out more about what that means, our team in the connection cafe would love to chat to you after the service.

Connection
After the service, you can pop by the connection cafe just to say hello or find out more about the life and community of Causeway Coast Vineyard. You can also connect with others over tea and coffee in our overflow, just beside the auditorium. We look forward to meeting you at either of these places!

Our host team in blue t-shirts are always happy to help or direct you at any time throughout the morning.

kids & Youth

Under 11s
We have stimulating and relevant environments for all kids aged 1-11 during our morning services. These run throughout each service, and we invite you to sign your kids in before the service begins (sign in is open from 9.15 - 9.45am, and 11.15 - 11.45am).

On your first morning with us, our Kids Newcomers team in the foyer (in yellow t-shirts) would love to register you and show you to the relevant kids environments. You can also pre-register your child/ren online, saving you some time on Sunday morning! Just click the button below to pre-register & check in with the Kids Newcomers team (located in the main foyer) when you arrive!

Our Tinystars room is a space where parents & babies are welcome to relax and enjoy the service together. Parents can watch the service via a TV screen, while connecting with other parents and allowing their little people to move around and play. Please ask the team to direct you to this space if you’d like to use it!

11-18s
We also have a environments for teens; our youth team (wearing khaki t-shirts) will be happy to meet you and provide any other information you require!
