Missions 2024

Thank you for taking the time to consider being a part of our Mission Trips at Causeway Coast Vineyard.

We believe that as followers of Jesus we are becoming the fullness of who He created us to be by continually learning to partner with Him as we interact with Everyone, Everywhere, Everyday.

A great way for us to practise this is by going to different places, to serve different people and stretch our faith to expect the impossible to become possible.  It is a wonderful demonstration of God’s love to give up our time and resources to go and serve others.  The beautiful part of these journeys is that we often come back full of our own stories and growth with Jesus that we didn’t expect!

How to apply:

In the Missions Booklet you will find descriptions of the different trips we are running next year.  You will find out when the teams are going, who is leading them and how much they cost. If you would then like to apply for a trip, you can use the link to access our application form. Don’t worry – we aren’t looking for a qualification in order for you to apply! We simply want to get to know you a little better and help figure out if this is the right trip, at the right time for you.

We will close applications for Mission Trips on 30^th November 2023.  Once all applications have been received, Mission Trip Leaders will be in touch to let you know if you have been successful.  Practical details, including deposits will follow.

Finance:

Costs listed include travel, food and accommodation. All costs are approximate and will be finalised before your place is confirmed. A deposit will be required to book your place. Teams requiring plane journeys will require a deposit to cover the cost of the flight, payable by 26^thJanuary 2024.  Trips must be paid in full before departure.

Youth Festival
/ Switzerland

We are going to be part of a youth festival, helping with set up, serving in the café, being part of the host or ministry teams, going on outreach, and most of all, connecting with young people!

Manila
/ Philippines

We’ll be partnering with KIDS International Ministry (KIDSim), an organisation with a passion to break the cycle of poverty in the communities around Manila.

KIDSim’s believe that transforming a community looks like sharing the gospel and building relationships while also feeding, clothing and providing education for those they work with. They aim to help people understand who they are in Jesus by meeting their physical and spiritual needs and ensuring that each person they encounter feels loved and cared for.

The practical ways in which we hope to serve KIDSim are through the children’s home, youth ministry, feeding programs, community outreach, construction projects, supporting the pregnancy clinic, sports ministry, teaching in schools, and through supporting families who have fled crisis situations. There are also opportunities to get involved with medical outreach programs for those who have experience in the medical profession.

Philippines Entry Requirements:
Visa – UK residents are granted a 30-day stay issued upon arrival (free of charge). Proof of a yellow fever vaccination. Other vaccines may be recommended; most of these are not available on the NHS (additional vaccination charges not included in trip cost).
