We are excited to host an evening of 'Stories from Burundi' with Simon Guillebaud.
Simon experienced a very clear call to Burundi during the civil war there in 1999, when it was regarded as the most dangerous country on earth. In 2003 he founded Great Lakes Outreach with the vision to see Burundi transformed. His work through GLO continues to have a huge impact on the country, now helping around 75,000 of the very neediest people every year in strategic and sustainable ways. Simon and his wife Lizzie recently received an MBE from the Queen for their service. They have just finished their time in Burundi after 19 years of service, returning to the UK with their three children.
Simon has many incredible stories from Burundi - we’d love to give you the opportunity to hear more from him. So on Saturday 14th July, we will be hosting an evening event where you can come along to hear stories of lives transformed and hope being restored in Burundi. This is a free event but you do need to register below.
