Hope and Gloria Emporium
We are a Social Enterprise born of and operated by Causeway Coast Vineyard. We are a not-for-profit shop offering vintage lifestyle and Compassion Fashion shop, £1 café, creative and sewing workshops, hairdressers and beauty treatments. We want to raise funds to support the local work of Vineyard Compassion and 2 charities based in Africa: Sports Academy and E3 Initiative.
Hope and Gloria offers a creative alternative on the High Street. It is a place of hope which celebrates creativity. We are a place to eat, drink, dream and be inspired. We resell donated items of clothing, shoes, accessories and vintage homewares.
Causeway Coast Vineyard is a vibrant missional community in Northern Ireland. Our vision is to change the community one life at a time and to do so within our lifetime. We don’t simply want to have a great church, we want to have a great city. We are deeply missional and irreversibly supernatural.
The manager of Hope and Gloria is a business management role as well as a role of a strong and competent ministry leader. The manager of Hope and Gloria will lead a team of people who desire to do more than just run a shop. This not-for profit endeavour is meant to positively affect our community and needs a leader who will lead with strong vision and purpose. The role also requires someone with business and retail acumen. The manager will maintain the ethos and vision of the shop, organise and motivate volunteers, ensure sufficient stock and sales levels and ensure the security of cash. You will work with the Women’s Director at CCV to agree a strategic plan for the shop and implement the business plan agreed with the senior leadership of Causeway Coast Vineyard.
