First Time Guest
We understand that coming along to a new place for the first time can be a daunting prospect. At Causeway Coast Vineyard we do everything that we can to make your experience with us as enjoyable as possible. On this page we hope that you find relevant information that will help you as you begin your journey at Causeway Coast Vineyard.
Thinking about coming to Causeway Coast Vineyard this Sunday? You may find it helpful to connect with someone at the start of the service through our 'meet and greet''. One of our newcomers team will welcome you on arrival, connect with you and show you to a seat!
What time does it start?
You can find out up to date service information here.
Where is the church?
We are located at 10 Hillmans Way, Coleraine, BT52 2ED.
What should you wear?
Most people who attend are usually dressed in a casual manner, for example t-shirt & jeans. However, if you would like to wear your new suit or dress you are totally welcome!
Where can you park?
There is free parking at the venue. Upon your arrival you will be directed by one of our friendly car parking team members towards a space.
What should you expect?
Our morning and evening services are always full of life. When you walk into the venue you will be greeted by a friendly volunteer. If you have family you can sign any of your kids into one of our vibrant and engaging environments. You can then gather in our main auditorium for 25mins of worship and 30mins of inspiration teaching from one of our pastors.
Do you have any events for newcomers?
We periodically run connection events to give those who are new an opportunity to find out more. You can find out more about these via our calendar.
We have a Newcomers Connection Café after the 11:30am service - a place where you can connect with some of our team over tea/coffee & pastries!
Our morning services launch with a time of celebration and passionate sung worship. This normally lasts 20-25 minutes and will be directed from the front. All the words are on the screens so if want to, you can sing along. We encourage you to relax and engage at your own pace, even if that means not singing at all.
After worship we communicate some of our key moments from the last week and core events for the coming weeks. At this time you may wish to fill in a connection card, especially if you want to make further contact with us. We also express our thanks to God through our offering at this point in the service. Naturally, you don’t have to give. If you are a first time guest, we encourage you to simply let the basket pass you by.
What about my kids?
We have stimulating and relevant environments for all kids aged 1-11 during our morning services only. These operate for the duration of our gathering. Simply look out for one of our team (wearing bright green t-shirts) who will gladly direct you to the right environment for you and your child. If you are a parent of a teenager, you'll be glad to know that we also have a weekly environment for 11-14s and 15-18s. Our youth team (wearing red t-shirts) will be happy to provide any other information you require. Please note that sign-in for all Under 18 environments closes at 09:45am, & 11:45am.
If you have a newborn child less than a year old, you can relax and enjoy the service in our Kids Foyer via a TV screen or connect with other mothers in one of our kids rooms. Ask the team to direct you to this area if you require.
Normally after worship we have a relevant and meaningful talk. Our talks are challenging, biblical, inspiring and applicable to all of our lives. We design them to last around 30/35 minutes so you can rest assured that you wont be sitting in the service come Monday.
At the end of the talk we reflect on what we have heard and respond. We always provide an opportunity to make a decision to follow Jesus at this time; there is no pressure in this moment but we always want to give everyone the opportunity.
And after that – well; we are done! Our newcomer team & community pastor would love to connect with you in the Newcomer Connection Café at back of church if you are at the 1130am service or. You can connect with others over muffins and other refreshments at our 930am and evening service. We look forward to meeting you at either of these places! There is also lots of useful information at our information desk if you want to find out more.
