Kid’s Club- Destiny Island

The theme for this year is simply ‘INCREDIBLE’. Incredible God, Incredible Kids, Incredible Journey. For all children of primary school age, this year’s Destiny
Island promises to be 5 mornings of INCREDIBLE Fun, INCREDIBLE activities, INCREDIBLE times with God and INCREDIBLE generosity to the community.

Flier Giveaway

We will help the kids pass out fliers for the week of Destiny Island and
invite any  kid to join the fun!

Ice Lolly Giveaway

Who doesn’t like to eat ice lollie's, especially when they are free!?! We will be teaching the kids how to reach out to the community by helping them hand out ice lollie's to the young and old.

Starbucks/Ground Upgrade

Almost everyone loves a cup of coffee… We are offering to upgrade customers drinks and we will cover the difference to the next size up.

Treasure Hunt

The Holy Spirit is  not just for adults;  He works the same in and through kids too!  Help the kids reach their full potential by tapping into the  supernatural realm.

Healing on the Streets

The kids will be learning about healing and will offer to pray for anyone seeking healing of any sort.

Coleraine Town Centre is the place to be; there are constantly people coming in and out of town to grab a coffee, meet a friend, run errands etc. This is a
wonderful opportunity to be bold in our faith and talk to people about how much God loves them.

HOTS

Healing on the Streets is a ministry that offers prayer to people who are in need. We set out chairs and invite people to experience God’s presence. We pray for them whatever their need is; from uneven legs and arms to headaches to the
healing of cancer. If you are not trained in Healing on the Streets than you may come along to ‘shadow’ the team and see how people are encountering God on the streets of Coleraine.

Prayer Walk

Help us intercede for the community of Coleraine. We will be walking all through the town, praying over local businesses, homes, churches and for the people who reside here.

Prophetic Evangelism

Treasure Hunt

Hunt for God’s precious treasures in Coleraine. This team will pray for words of knowledge and pictures. We will be asking God for names, ailments, places and distinguishing characteristics of people that He wants us to talk to. We will write down what we get and go out into the town to ‘hunt’ for these treasured people. We simply share with the found treasures just what our mission is and offer to pray for them.

Water Bottle Giveaway

Come help us give away FREE bottles of water to parched football players on the pitch. This is a fun and easy way to brighten someone’s day. You never know what may happen just by quenching a physical thirst; it may just leave them wondering why we would spend our time and money to meet their own need and hopefully leave them thirsty for true spiritual refreshment.

Window Washing

We will be heading to Harpur’s Hill to wash windows of residents homes for free. This is always welcomed with open arms and people will tend to ask when will you be back to do it again!

Business Toilet Scrub

You would be surprised at how effective this outreach really is! People are blown away when we offer to scrub their toilets for free. They cannot seem to grasp why we would spend our time to wash the dirtiest place of their shop for nothing in return. This is small act of kindness which speaks volumes to the shop owner. So get your yellow cleaning gloves on and prepare to shock business owners in the town centre!

Light Bulb Giveaway

This is a fun way to reach out to people in a practical way. We will be  hand delivering  energy saving light bulbs to every home in Harpur’s Hill and sharing with the residents God amazing love for us all. The next time they go to replace a light bulb they will be reminded of how much God cares for them.

Dhu Varren BBQ

We will be helping out the Dhu Varren Community House by  BBQing food for the community and serving them in any way we can.

Face Painting

We want to bless any one of God’s children whether they are 6 or 60 years old. We will be offering free face painting to any willing participant at the BBQ.

Hand Massages

This is a very special ministry that embraces the importance of touch. It is amazing how many people will feel safe with offering their hand for a hand shake or to give to someone to hold. Many people for various reasons will not want to be touched yet are happy with the ‘hand’ being touched. We will be offering free hand massages to passerby’s in the town centre. The idea is to be the hands of Jesus bringing people comfort and joy and a sense of the presence of God in their lives. We are there to sow seeds of love through the act of touch and to show them that God cares for them in a loving and relaxing way.

New Beginnings: Women’s Outreach

Women who have been victims of Domestic Violence and single mums will be honoured by the police and other organizations in the community We will help to watch their children with all sorts of activities including a theme park, bowling, bouncy castle and more. The women will also be completely pampered and given makeover's for a fashion show late that evening. We will help serve and honour them in any way needed.

It’s always fun to grab a coffee and enjoy a bit of good music.  We will be hosting a chilled out night devoted to music and hanging out with people  that we have met throughout the week of Shine. This event will meet people half way and make it a wee bit easier to transition to coming to church on a Sunday.
