Family

At Vineyard we recognise that raising a family in today's world is life's greatest challenge and the church should be a place where no family stands alone.

Kids ministry - Allstars

Ever think the best - and most fun hour - of your child's week would be at church? It can be! It's about kids. Kids having a blast, being creative, interacting, learning about the love of God. And it's about you getting a chance to relax, and hear God's great plans for you – no matter how tired, lost or alone you might feel.

At Vineyard we want you to know that as you are enjoying the service, your kids are safe and having fun too. We make it our goal to make Allstars the best hour in every kids week by leading them into life-changing encounters with Jesus while giving them tools to love God and others.

Each weekly 10am service caters for families with newborn babies to children in year six at school and provides an excellent children's programme in a safe and stimulating environment. That's why at Vineyard, its not uncommon for the kids to bring their parents to church.

Please contact dave@causewaycoastvineyard.com for more information on age specific kids work.

Youth...

If you're a teenager, chances are you avoid church like the plague. It's boring. Irrelevant. And the music is... face it... lame. At Circus there are leaders who talk to you, not at you (or worse, down to you) – about hard issues you face every day.

There's space for you to hang out with friends as well.

Check out our what's on page for the next BIG event. Alternatively come along to one of our groups for 11-14's that meet each Wednesday in Exodus at 7pm. For more information contact michaela@causewaycoastvineyard.com

We are on a mission to turn around teenagers in our town and crave is one of the ways we get the chance to change lives. Crave is our various smallgroups that meet weekly for young people aged 15-18.

There are some things we want them to catch. We want them to know how to make wise decisions, we want them to navigate the path to intimacy by choosing sexual purity, we want them to live lives sold out for God. The great thing is we are starting to see it.

PATCHWORK

Patchwork is a project supporting individuals who have experienced circumstantial changes and disruption in family life, helping those who have suffered trauma, crisis, anxiety, depression, separation, divorce, disruption in family life and other lasting changes. We do this through practical and emotional support through different ways of reaching out.

The Verve is a venue where people can come and have tea or coffee, read, have a chat or just relax. We support people to rebuild and move on which involves helping them find significance, purpose, hope and self worth. We offer a tailored personal development programme for them to explore and understand more about the choices they make in life and why they are struggling with issues and changes. This can be done any time during the week on a one to one basis with Key Workers.

58 Project is a practical project reaching across our community to enrich the lives of those who are struggling emotionally and practically, showing love in a practical way. We aim to resource needs, feed the hungry and help those in trouble. We do this through kindness shown in the community. Donations are distributed to different community organisations and individuals on a regular basis.

The Helping Hand service aims to assist in moving furniture or tasks such as D.I.Y, gardening, Painting & Decorating and cleaning. We will help with these tasks to improve life for the person who has experienced hardship and suffering in lots of different ways, helping them to begin to rebuild their lives.

Through the 58 Project and The Verve we have seen people really blessed and amazed at our kindness and caring way of reaching out.

We have encountered people calling in who simply find it nice to be out having a coffee and a chat. Others have begun to find freedom from isolation and loneliness through connecting at The Verve and others who have been suicidal, are finding reason to live.

One woman that we helped was struggling with depression and was harming herself. She could not keep a job and as her situation became stressful and difficult she had to let the job go. We just happened to be in the right place at the right time. We could have let her walk away instead we offered our help. She has never looked back. She now works and is doing really well. She introduced her partner to us who had been in prison for paramilitary offences most of his adult life. He was crying out for a chance to find hope, purpose and meaning. Both of them are now changed people. They recently got married, they're living in better conditions and they are finding purpose and meaning through faith in God. Their lives are being transformed! As more connect through the Verve or because of the 58 Project we see people's hope revived again and lives being restored.
