This week the encounter team were ‘treasure hunting’ – an activity where you first ask God for words of knowledge, where to find the ‘treasure’, what the Treasure looks like, and maybe someone’s name and what they might need prayer for.

One of the locations on Paul’s treasure map was the square in the middle of the town centre and as he and Abigail came from Starbucks they met a woman, with a red coat and a fine appearance, which were all facts on Paul’s Treasure map. Paul and Abigail were friends with her, so they just asked if there was anything we could pray for, she said no, but that they could pray blessing over her! So they blessed her and gave her some words of knowledge – Paul asked her if she has any problems with her stomach, as this was on his treasure map. Surprised, she said ‘yes’! The guys were so excited and started praying for her stomach. Apparently she couldn’t test it out, but they are pretty sure God did something! She felt really blessed and so encouraged!
