We understand that coming along to a new place for the first time can be a daunting prospect and we do everything that we can at the Causeway Coast Vineyard to make your experience with us as enjoyable as possible. On this page we hope that you get some information that will help you as you begin attending the church.

What time does it start?

Our two Sunday Services begin 10.00am and 11.45am

Where is the church?

We are currently located at the Old Dunnes Stores in Coleraine beside the Mall carpark. The address is 27 Queens Street, Coleraine.

Where can you park?

As we mentioned in the last question, we are located beside a large public car park. This car park offers free car parking on Sundays and is used by most people who come along. If for any reason there is no space in this area there are lots of streets around the church which allow free on-street parking on a Sunday.

What should you wear?

Please feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in. Most people who come along usually are dressed in a casual manner but if you would like to wear your new suit or dress you are very welcome!

What should you expect?

When you enter the church you will be met by some of our volunteers you will offer you some sweets and a programme that will tell you all that is going on within the church. Someone from the welcome team and/or a chair steward will help you find a seat. This is also a good opportunity to sign in any under 11’s to the kids activities (First Service).

Our services start with a time of worship through singing. This normally lasts 20-25 minutes and will be directed from the front. All the words will on the screens and we encourage you to feel free to do whatever you feel comfortable doing within this time, even if that means not singing at all.

After this we will have a short time of announcements. During this time you may be asked to fill in a connection card if you want to make further contact with the church and we may also take the offering at this point – if not these will happen at the end of the service. You are not obliged to provide any details on the card and you don’t have to give to the offering either – in fact if you are a first time visitor we encourage you to let the basket pass you by.

Coffee Time
Coffee Time

After the announcements we have a short break where you can get a free tea/coffee and a muffin or do-nut although you might need to race people to the stations! At this point in the service our 11-14’s leave for their Radiate programme (First Service).

We then move into the talk/sermon section of the service. Our talks are challenging, biblical, inspiring and applicable to all of our lives. We design our talks to last about 20/25 minutes so you can rest assured that you wont be sitting in the service come Monday.

As soon as this section is over we then enter ministry time. This is the point in the service where we want to give people a chance to respond to whatever they feel God has been doing in them through the service. At times we will pray for healing or a specific need we feel is in the room. We will always give people an opportunity to make a decision to follow Jesus at this time; there is no pressure in this moment but we always want to give everyone the opportunity.

And after that – well; we are done! You can feel free to stick around and chat to people you may have met. There is lots of information at the back of the church if you want to get involved more in church life and you will also have an opportunity to meet other people who can give you other information you might be looking for.

Do you have any events for Newcomers?

Yes, periodically we run connection events to help those who are new to the church an opportunity to find out more. Stay tuned to the What’s On section or your Sunday programme to find out when these will be.
