CAP event at Stormont

Around 100 local politicians, Healthcare professionals, CAP Centre staff etc enjoyed a buffet lunch and heard addresses from Naoni Long MP, Chief Constable Matt Baggott and CDM Chris Cupples. The highlight as always was when some of our wonderful CAP clients shared their stories of their struggles to cope with unmanageable debt together with the difference CAP made after getting involved.

Some hard-hitting findings of CAP UK’s latest client survey included the grim statistic that 49% of our clients here in NI considered or attempted suicide before CAP got involved.
