About Marie:
Marie Lacey has been writing and performing music for over 40 years. Her powerful soul voice and lively personality has resulted in her being highly respected amongst her peers and a much sought after vocal arranger.

Marie has been married to Lynas for 38 years and they live in Belfast and they have a son, Jonathan, who lives and works in Liverpool.

Having been a senior worship leader in Christian Fellowship Church in Belfast and a regular speaker at conferences, in 2009 Marie stepped out from behind the walls of the church to fulfil a vision to create a gospel choir that, through unity and inclusiveness, would promote a positive image of Northern Ireland. Belfast Community Gospel Choir was born and through music they spread the message of love, joy and peace in a nation still recovering from decades of violence and division.

Marie’s crazy Irish humour often results in audiences rolling in laughter one moment and in tears the next as she shares with great honesty and openness about her Christian faith and everyday life as a wife and Mum.
