Foodbank Fundraiser

Causeway Foodbank will be benefit from a fundraising event with a performance by ‘Let’s Sing Gospel’ Choir on Friday 5th February 2016 at 7.30pm in the main church. Following sell-out concerts for the past four years, ‘Let’s Sing Gospel’ are also raising funds for CHEERS Youth Centre in Ballymoney and Kitetika School in Uganda.

Tickets for the concerts will be on sale from Saturday 28th November and are available from RH Gault, Church Street Ballymoney, Faith Mission Bookshop, Railway Rd Coleraine and Causeway School of music also in Railway Rd Coleraine. Last year’s concerts were sold out and concert goers are advised to get tickets early to avoid disappointment

‘Let’s Sing Gospel’ is a community choir based in Ballymoney. They will perform three concerts in early 2016 at three different locations. Friday 22nd January in Drumreagh Presbyterain Church, Saturday 30th January in Portstewart Baptist Church and Friday the 5th February in Causeway Coast Vineyard. If the past four year’s concerts are any guide, audiences will again be treated to evenings of high energy and exciting quality praise in music and song.

The members of choir are drawn from across the north coast and will perform a mixture of Black Gospel and modern worship. Over the four years their concerts have raised over £35,000 for a variety of charities. Since its formation five years ago the choir has grown to 120 voices and this year will be accompanied once again by Barazina Children’s Choir and Singazina Youth Choir.
